Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

This website is operated by LJ Tools Inc, a New York company. These terms apply to every order request and quote made through the site or by email.

2. Order requests

Submitting a cart sends us an order request; it is not a payment and does not by itself create a contract. A sale is formed when we confirm the order in writing and you pay the invoice we send.

3. Prices and payment

Each item has one price in US dollars, as listed on its product page. Your invoice lists the ways you can pay. Sales tax is collected where required by applicable law.

4. Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. After that date we may need to re-quote.

5. Shipping and returns

Processing times, delivery and returns are governed by our Shipping & Fulfillment and Returns & Refunds pages, which form part of these terms.

6. Using the tools

Read the documentation supplied with each item and follow it. Product descriptions on this site summarize the item; ask us for detailed specifications before you buy if a figure matters to your job.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

8. Governing law

New York State law applies to these terms and to any order under them, read without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
